Our
Journey of Hope
Our Journey of Hope is a spiritual outreach program of
CTCA (Cancer Treatment Centers of America in
Tulsa) for cancer patients and their families everywhere,
whether they're our patients or not. The program has several
components:
--A website, www.ourjourneyofhope.com,
where we have weekly devotionals, monthly sermons, testimonials
of people who've seen God at work in their cancer journey, articles
and research that point to the impact faith has on the healing
process, a prayer line, our lay ministry training and seminar
calendar, and much more.
-- 8 hours of free lay ministry training we will provide at
any church in the country for congregants, parish nurses, clergy,
etc. to help them become more effective in ministering to cancer
patients and their families. It is an awesome program, and we're
getting excellent response.
-- Evening seminars on cancer-related topics at churches where
we've trained people so that we can invite the general public
into the church and hopefully relationships will be built between
those who are unchurched and those who are. |
