Skip McDonald is a Registered Nurse working
with Nurses Christian Fellowship in the Southeast. She’s
also a nurse at the Devereux Georgia Treatment Center. Skip
received
her BSN in nursing at Valdosta State College. She also received
her ThB (Bachelors in Theology).
Skip serves with the Atlanta Black Nurses Association as
Chaplain. Spring 2005, Skip attended the National student
Nurses Association Convention in Nashville, TN where she
conducted a workshop on “Journeying Through Spiritual
Care”.
Skip has published two articles with the Journal of Christian
Nursing: “Moving Beyond Burnout” and “Spiritual
Care: How the Christian Community Cared for Mama,” and “So,
What is Mentoring?” She’s written two devotional
guides: “Walking Worthy” and “The God of
All Comfort.” She has also written “And She Lived
Happily Ever After” released March 2005 by InterVarsity
Press.
Through Nurses Christian Fellowship, Skip serves students,
nurses and nurse educators in Georgia, North Florida and
North Alabama. Skip is a Christian who is devoted to bringing
honor and glory to Jesus Christ.
